The building is absolutely beautiful from outside on the grounds to the actual building it’s self and inside also nice

Nice breakfast, nice room on the ground floor with access to a small, enclosed garden which was very handy for the dog. Lovely old building with lots of character contained in nice well kept gardens. Very handy facilities included a pool and gym. There was an abundance of free car parking that did not require being reserved or booked in advance.

The fact we could take our dogs with us was a massive bonus. The room was clean and tidy, throws were provided to keep beds clean from dogs though, we did bring our own. Sue on reception was marvelous, made us feel very welcome, gave us a tour and, made sure we had everthing we needed. We all slept really well, beds were comfy and clean. The room felt cool, even with the high temp. outside.

The staff were amazing! They went out of their way to make us feel at home and it was very apparent that they love this amazing property as much as we did! Lots of rooms where you can sit and read our watch TV and it is really close to a fantastic Indian restaurant surprisingly situated in the lion and fiddle pub.

It’s a beautiful property from the outside but is sad on the inside.
